Information About eBay VPP Live Support Scams From Wikipedia the term "Faux" Means: Faux (pronounced /ˈfoʊ/, like "foe") is a French word for false or fake. It is often used in English phrases such as faux pearls. And on this website is used to refer to a scam that has been very successful, where Scammers represent themselves as eBay Live Support Representatives. Scammers use this as a method of gaining an eBay site visitors confidence using hijacked accounts often selling high dollar vehicles, and other expensive items at a very low price. These are well educated fraudsters who are true professionals at what they do - steal peoples money! It is very important to know that eBay does have a VPP Program (here is the real vpp page on eBay Motors), but eBay does not collect money for sellers, have agents that collect money for sellers, eBay is not associated with Craigs List, and eBay does not provide any type of escrow services. Anyone that contacts you about using eBay VPP to insure a transaction is trying to steal your money!
The eBay Live Support Scam is working well for these fraudsters. One reason is that eBay apparently does not care that these scammers are using their website name to cheat their site visitors! Below is a Video showing one of these faux eBay live support chat room's in operation. NOTE: If you can not see the video player below, It is also available on YouTube by clicking here.
